Since I haven't figured out how to reply to a comment I made this brilliant plan - to create a new post! :) I dedicate this blog and a moment of silence to the dead Corsa bakkie you refer to, Phillip. The Corsa's joyful life as a driving-to-town-bakkie ended when my brother tried to jump-start his Isuzu bakkie with it and seized the engin! A second hand Bantam bakkie was appointed in its place and that is my transportation. As for the reason for the tail lights...bad, unscraped farm roads. Need I say more? That, and a slow repair-system. But I can't complain, because I have aircon and a CD player and an adjustable driving seat, so I can happily enjoy my ride from home to work and back.
And the busy traffic. Try add a thunder storm to it and you find me with emergency lights, trying to find a way to make the fog(I think...wasem) go away! Got a hoot for that party trick! Other than that, I'd say my good-tempered driving don't impress these Gautengers! Hopefully they will get used to me!
