Have you ever thought about PASSION? Being passionate. What is the origin of our passions? Why do we have it? How do we recognise it? What are the advantages and disadvantages of the state of passion? How does passion die?
I have a passion for people, their uniqueness, their behaviour, creating an environment in which they can be comfortable and themselves. This wasn't always true of me. I used to be quite hard on people and would not think twice about stepping on someone who did not have a strong personality. I am not proud of that little girl I used to be, but I'm not beating myself up about it either. The point is that my heart changed (yes, because I came to understand God and love better) and that I became the complete opposite of what I used to be.
Anyway, so for me, passion is something that God puts in your heart and which He uses to change the world. Passion is such a strong and important thing, a gift, not only to yourself, but also to others around you. I'd say that it also is a responsibility. Live it out, because it has the power to touch lives, nature, animals etcetera.
Maybe you can feel that. The nagging feeling in your heart that NEEDS to come out and materialise into something touchable or nameable or known about. Go on - let it free! You can be a tool with your passion. Combine it with your talents and gifts and you are unstoppable!
And never let anything stop you. Older people who 'also wanted to try that' (listen to their advise, but take only the constructive parts and use it), the limitations you make yourself believe you have (search for alternatives and consider the possibility that you may be wrong) and whatever else. I am too subjective to think of other passion-killers.
Be passionate! Be a person that changes lives! Be humble about whatever you accomplish throug it, because remember that your passion is a gift and also a responsibility. Use it wisely. :)
Passion die is soos 'n motiveringboek wat ek nou gelees het cool :-) Love die deel (Live it out, because it has the power to touch lives...)
