Niceness!

After yesterday yours truely was caught off guard with the sharp contrast of today.  The first thing I was so thankful for was the chill breeze this morning, combined with a few clouds in the sky.  While sitting in traffic as I entered the city from the N4 I had my first chance to have a look around, since normally I just drive past.  I appreciated the beautiful trees and grass at the side of the road and the army of South African flags planted there as you come into Pretoria.  It reminded me of how much I miss because I'm always in a hurry.

Bobby van Jaarsveld's CD accompanied me all the way, soothing the traffic pain.  Whoever says that Afrikaans music is dumb - you probably picked the wrong CD.  I have had the wonderful experience of Afrikaans music lifting my spirits in traffic and when I am running aroud, trying to make deadlines.  You should try it!

So in court I was helped and greeted with the most wonderful friendly faces!  I am just SOOOO thankful, because they really moved mountains for me and helped me out of so much trouble.  It is just not something I expected, since people of the law always seem so strict and non-influencable.  I guess that is true for some, but remind me to give people a chance.  I would want one when the tables are turned.

For the first time in Boklammetjie's history, she is going to the gym today.  Wish me luck - I'm probably going to be in all sorts of pain tomorrow.  :)  But I need this.  I feel so useless, since there has been no physical activity for the past WEEK (and I am kind of an active person).

Here I am, at the end of the day, a very thankful person.  This day was good (so far, who knows what gym is going to do to it?).  Happy camper, over and out!
